What do you enjoy about pediatrics? I love that kids are so fun & resilient, and they almost always have a really good advocate with them–someone to make sure they take their medicine and follow our instructions so they can get better quickly.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work? I love spending time with my kids, my husband, and my many siblings; I love being outside, listening to books on the audible, and watching my kids play sports.
Tell us about your family. I live in Wellington and am married to my high school sweetheart, Geoffrey. They have five amazing children (including 3 adopted by her sister) born in 2006 through 2015.
Describe yourself in three words. Easy, giving, tough.
What is an interesting fact about yourself? I wanted to join the Air Force, but I’m too short to fly Air Force planes.
If you were a Disney character who would you be? Mulan bc I’ve always admired people who are good at martial arts.
If you could take one thing to a deserted island what would it be? A magical bowl that refills with a delicious meal 3x a day.
If you weren’t in the medical field, what would you be? A pilot, a teacher, or a hairstylist.
